January Luncheon

December 3, 2017

Our January Luncheon will be held on Wednesday the 10th, with an interesting double header featuring Stephen Lockwood talking about Modulation Dependent Carrier Level (MDCL) and Feliks Banel with a presentation on Seattle Radio History.

Stephen will be talking about MDCL, a method of reducing power consumption in AM radio transmitters during periods of low audio or silence.  Most of the Puget Sound high powered transmitters are using MDCL.

Feliks is a producer, host, and historian for KIRO Radio.  Felix will be talking about Northwest Radio History.

This month’s luncheon is no host.  Those attending will order and pay individually this month.
