Ted will be talking about “Public Warning – Your Training Input After Events This Past Year.”
Hurricane Harvey, California Wildfires, Ballistic Mission False Alarm… What can we learn from these recent public warning events and apply them to training here in our region? The discussion will include the use of EAS and WEA for these public warning events and a discussion about how to apply your knowledge and experience into better solutions.
Ted recently retired after 40 years with the weather service. He served as the Warning Coordination Meteorologist for the National Weather Service’s Seattle area forecast office at Sand Point.
