SBE Leadership Development Course to take place in Atlanta, Aug 3-5 (March 19, 2010)
Being a positive influence on coworkers, an effective manager, and a true team player is such an important part of a company’s overall success, yet often one of the most overlooked skills. To help those in the broadcast engineering field hone their leadership and managerial skills, the Society of Broadcast Engineers is once again offering its leadership development course.
The SBE Leadership Development Course has been redesigned, and is now offered as an intense 3-day course, covering basic and advanced concepts of outstanding leadership. More Information
Additional Ennes Workshops Scheduled for 2010 (March 18, 2010)
This year, SBE is planning more Ennes Workshops than we ever have – 7 in all. SBE normally holds up to 5 workshops. Here are the locations scheduled to host an Ennes Workshop yet this year:
May 21 – El Paso, Texas, hosted by SBE Chapter 38
August 20 – Nashville, Tennessee, hosted by SBE Chapter 103 and the Tennessee Association of Broadcasters
September 25 – Dallas, Texas, hosted by SBE Chapter 67
October 16 – San Diego, California, hosted by SBE Chapter 36
November 10 – New England, hosted by SBE Chapter 11, in conjunction with the New England Broadcast and Cable Expo
Ennes Workshops are one-day (typically 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with breakfast and lunch included), regional workshops that provide affordable industry-specific education.
