Alex Brewster made a presentation on his experiences using drones for broadcasting for our April Zoom meeting.
Alex shared some of his experiences operating his drone for various uses including tower inspections on Tiger Mountain following the disastrous antenna fire a couple of years ago and making radio video promotions. Alex talked about getting the FAA Remote Pilot License to operate his drone professionally and some of the regulations that restrict commercial drone use. Alex is currently SBE Chapter 16 Chairman and employed by Gates-Air as their regional radio and television broadcast field engineer.
