The SBE 2023 Annual Chapter 16 picnic was held at the historic KIRO-AM transmitter site on Vashon Island on Saturday, July 21st. Festivities began at noon with hot dogs and hamburgers and all the traditional picnic accompaniment. Food for the event was provided courtesy of our friends at BSW and cool liquid refreshment courtesy of Hatfield and Dawson Consulting Engineers.
A brief business meeting was called to order by chapter chairman Jon Kasprick. Jon presented the Chapter “Engineer of the Year” Award to Vashon resident radio engineer Steve Allen.
