Chapter 16 Christmas Party

Jim Dalke, Editor – SBE Chapter 16’s annual grand Christmas party was held on December 16 at Ivar’s Salmon House on Seattle’s Lake Union. It was a festive and enjoyable event! The evening started with a “Happy Hour” hosted by Hatfield and Dawson Engineers, providing an excellent opportunity for chapter members and friends to mingle. The delightful hors d’oeuvres added to the convivial atmosphere.

Live Christmas music was provided by Stephen Lockwood’s quartet, “The Re-Arrangers.”

The main event was a dinner buffet, allowing everyone to enjoy a delicious meal together. Before the dinner, a brief Chapter business meeting was conducted, with Chapter Chairman Brian Walker discussing upcoming chapter activities and plans.

To add to the excitement, a prize drawing featured many gifts generously donated by the chapter sponsors and supporters. This was a highlight for attendees, offering a chance to win some fantastic prizes and creating a sense of community and appreciation for those who support the chapter.

The chapter thanks those who contributed the great prizes, including Orban Labs, Harrington Tower, John Schneider Radio Historian, Broadcast Tools, Nautel Broadcast, Broadcast Supply Worldwide, Black Magic Design, Wheatstone, and Telos Alliance.

Overall, it was a wonderful celebration that brought SBE Chapter 16 members and friends together for a memorable Christmas party at a picturesque venue.
