On Saturday evening, December 20, Chapter 16 held a grand Christmas Party at Ivar’s Salmon House on Lake Union. The evening opened at 5:30 with “Happy Hour” hosted by Hatfield and Dawson Engineers. The scrumptious dinner buffet included Ivar’s famous Salmon Filet, Prime rib, and Chicken Marsala.
Chapter Treasurer Michael Brooks welcomed members and guests at the door by providing name tags and organizing the many gifts and prizes. Chapter Chair Brian Walker called a brief meeting to order, followed by our Chapter “Santa” and board member Jon Kasprick drawing the lucky numbers for the prizes.
The gifts and prizes were provided by the chapter sponsors and friends, including Broadcast General Store, Blackmagic Design, Broadcast Tools, BSW, Brownestone (Shure), ERI, Gates Air, Harrington Aerial, Inovonics, Nautel, Orban-Day Sequerra, RF Specialties of Washington, SCMS. Telos Alliance, The Radio Historian, Tieline, Wheatstone, Ztransform (Utter & Associates), and Seattle SBE Chapter 16.
