Our presenter for the May 12 chapter luncheon was Dustin Vance of Broadcast Electronics. The meeting was held at the Davita Café in Federal Way.
Dustin talked about BE’s revolutionary AM transmitter line introduced at NAB 2026, describing the innovative high-voltage design which enabled BE to manufacture the 5 kW transmitter in a compact 5U rack-mounted package.
Dustin also talked about Broadcast Electronics being acquired by the Alzana Group of Boston. He said the acquisition will provide BE with new development opportunities, and BE will continue to operate as Broadcast Electronics.
