Rod Julian, Luncheon Speaker
Jim Dalke, Editor – The featured speaker for the SBE Chapter 16 June Luncheon was Rod Julian, Telecom Safety and Health Compliance Officer for Washington State. The luncheon was held on June 13 at the Old Spaghetti Factory in South Center.
Rod talked about his experiences related to tower safety inspections and tower related accident investigations. Rod also talked about recent policy and code changes in the state and nationally. His emphasis was on questions about current standards and whether they were adequate in today’s rapidly changing tower structures and technology.
