The October SBE Chapter 16 luncheon was an informative event featuring speakers from Lawo, a company specializing in designing and manufacturing technology for the broadcast and performing arts industries. The event was held at the Federal Way Round Table Pizza at noon on Tuesday, the 10th.
The presenters at the luncheon were Kevin Broce, who serves as the Lawo Key Account Manager, and Biplab Ghosh, who is the Lawo Technical Manager for Presales Engineering.
They discussed Lawo’s expertise in providing IP-based broadcast systems and their vision for the future of broadcasting, which involves a single digital infrastructure for transporting audio, video, metadata, and control. Lawo’s technology is not limited to broadcasting but also extends to the performing arts, installed sound, and corporate applications, making it a versatile player in the audiovisual industry.
